Our Love Story
On October 22, 2015 – Amir and Samantha had met for the first time, during a volunteer pharmacy assistant role at Rexall Pharmacy at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This was their very first encounter – both of them oblivious to how important the other was going to be to them in the future. They had bonded briefly through Samantha’s inert fear of picking up patient phone calls, and Amir’s patience to teaching her how to be a good Pharmacy Assistant. Fast forward to March 4, 2017 – Amir “slid into the DMs” and established the connection with Samantha to meet in person again. Lucky thing she recalled being trained by Amir at Rexall back in 2015, otherwise she may have not replied! They met at Leslie Dan Faculty School of Pharmacy, where Amir locked Samantha down on the first meeting by giving her his fob key to the pharmacy building, forcing her to stay and chat with him over coffee all afternoon leading into the evening.
It took some courting before Amir finally got the first official date with Samantha on April 8th, 2017 when they went to Putting Edge in Vaughan. The relationship was only growing from there. After a few more dates, on April 22, 2017 – Amir officially asked Samantha to be his girlfriend at the Starbucks in Trinity Commons (and she said yes, of course!). Since then, they have been dating for 3 years, with many trials and tribulations to test the stability and strength of the relationship in between.
On May 22, 2020 – Amir went down on one knee and proposed to Samantha – which led to the birth of this website to share our story! We hope you can join us on our Youtube Journey as we document our life together!
