We're back with part two of our Cancun adventure, and honestly, this is where the magic really happened. After all the pre-wedding festivities, it was time for the actual Hindu and Sikh ceremonies at the Hard Rock Hotel, and we're sharing everything - the beautiful, the chaotic, and the absolutely unforgettable moments.

Watching these traditional ceremonies unfold against the backdrop of Cancun's stunning coastline was something else entirely. The vibrant colors of the saris and turbans looked incredible against the turquoise water, and seeing family members who'd traveled from across North America come together was deeply moving.

As an interracial couple ourselves, we always feel extra emotional at multicultural weddings. There's something so beautiful about witnessing two families blend their traditions, languages, and customs. The Anand Karaj ceremony was particularly touching - the four rounds around the Guru Granth Sahib while family sang along had us both tearing up.

What struck us most was how the resort staff embraced everything. From accommodating the sacred fire ceremony to ensuring the mandap was perfectly positioned for photos, they made it feel seamless. And can we talk about the family moments? Watching grandparents teach the younger cousins traditional dances, seeing aunties coordinate everyone's outfits, and witnessing the pure joy on everyone's faces - these are the moments that make destination weddings so special.

The celebration continued well into the night with bhangra dancing on the beach and way too much delicious Indian food.

What's your favorite wedding tradition to witness? We'd love to hear about memorable ceremonies you've attended!
