Day 11 - Venice | Flying back to Barcelona | Eurotrip Conclusion

Our last morning in Venice felt bittersweet as we packed our bags one final time. After eleven incredible days exploring Europe together, we couldn't believe how quickly time had flown by. We grabbed one last cornetto and espresso near our hotel, watching the early morning light dance across the canals.

The flight from Venice to Barcelona gave us time to reflect on this whirlwind adventure. From Amsterdam's charming canals to Prague's fairy-tale architecture, from Vienna's imperial grandeur to Venice's romantic waterways – each city had shown us something different about Europe's rich tapestry of cultures.

What struck us most was how traveling as an interracial couple felt so natural here. Sure, we got the occasional curious glance, but mostly we just blended into the beautiful diversity of fellow travelers and locals. There's something magical about exploring new places together when you both come from immigrant families – we found ourselves constantly comparing notes about how different neighborhoods reminded us of Toronto's multicultural pockets.

The food memories alone could fill another blog post entirely. Amir's obsession with finding the perfect schnitzel in Vienna, my determination to master the art of ordering gelato in Italian, and our shared love affair with European coffee culture – these little moments made the trip special.

As our plane touched down in Barcelona for our connecting flight home, we were already dreaming about our next European adventure.
