We kicked off day five in Aruba with an early morning drive to the California Lighthouse, and honestly, the views were worth every minute of our slightly chaotic navigation through the island's winding roads. There's something magical about starting your day at a lighthouse – it felt like we were standing at the edge of the world, watching the Caribbean stretch endlessly before us.

The lighthouse itself is stunning, but what really captured our hearts were the dramatic coastal views and the way the morning light painted everything golden. We spent way too long taking photos of each other (and yes, we're that couple who asks strangers to take our picture because we can never get the angles right ourselves).

From there, we headed to Arashi Beach, which quickly became our favorite spot on the island. The water was impossibly blue and calm – perfect for Samantha, who's still working on her swimming confidence, and ideal for Amir, who immediately claimed he could snorkel there for hours. We loved how uncrowded it felt compared to some of the busier beaches we'd visited earlier in the week.

Dinner at Daniel's Steakhouse was the perfect way to cap off the day. The service was incredible, and they were so accommodating when we explained our different dietary preferences. Sometimes traveling as a couple means compromising on restaurants, but this place had something amazing for both of us.

What's your favorite lighthouse or coastal spot you've discovered while traveling? We're always looking for our next scenic adventure!
