We finally made it to Barcelona, and honestly, we're still pinching ourselves! After months of planning our first EuroTrip together, stepping off that plane felt surreal. The energy of this city hit us immediately – the perfect blend of historic charm and vibrant modern culture that we'd been dreaming about.

Our first stop had to be the Sagrada Familia, and wow, no amount of Instagram photos could have prepared us for seeing Gaudí's masterpiece in person. We spent nearly two hours just walking around it, trying to capture every intricate detail. Amir kept joking that it looked like something from a fantasy movie, while I was completely mesmerized by how the light played through those stunning facades.

From there, we wandered over to Arc de Triomf – so different from Paris's version but equally impressive in its own Moorish-inspired way. The red brick and palm trees gave it such a distinctly Spanish feel that made us giddy with excitement about being here.

But let's talk about the tapas! We stumbled into this tiny local spot where the owner didn't speak much English, and we definitely butchered our Spanish, but somehow we managed to order the most incredible patatas bravas and jamón ibérico. There's something magical about sharing small plates and discovering new flavors together – it's become one of our favorite ways to connect with a new place.

Barcelona is already stealing our hearts, and this is just day one! What's your must-see spot in Barcelona that we should add to our list?
