Spain Day 9 | KMW Mallorca Escape | Cala Millor Beach Bliss

We woke up to the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore, and honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start day nine of our Spanish adventure. Cala Millor Beach had been calling our names since we arrived in Mallorca, and today we finally surrendered to its crystal-clear waters and golden sand.

The beach here is absolutely stunning – think postcard-perfect Mediterranean vibes with that incredible turquoise water that makes you question if the photos are even real. Spoiler alert: they are! We spent the morning alternating between lazy sunbathing sessions and refreshing dips in the sea. Samantha was in her element, practically becoming one with the water, while Amir perfected his "vacation dad" pose under our beach umbrella.

What we love about traveling as a couple is how we each bring different perspectives to these moments. Sam's Vietnamese heritage means she's naturally drawn to coastal experiences – there's something about being near water that just centers her. Meanwhile, Amir was busy chatting with fellow travelers from Germany and the UK, picking up random bits of conversation in his charmingly broken Spanish.

The promenade behind the beach offered the perfect lunch spot where we indulged in fresh seafood and sangria (because when in Spain, right?). The afternoon flew by in that blissful vacation haze where time seems irrelevant and your biggest decision is whether to reapply sunscreen or grab another drink.
