Switzerland Day 7 | KMW Swiss Escapade | Schynige Platte Blooms & Korean BBQ Feast

We started our seventh day in Switzerland with an early morning journey to Schynige Platte, and honestly, we weren't prepared for the breathtaking alpine flower meadows that awaited us. The cogwheel train ride up was already spectacular, but stepping off at the summit felt like entering a fairy tale - vibrant wildflowers carpeted the mountainside in every direction.

Samantha went absolutely wild photographing the edelweiss and alpine roses, while Amir couldn't stop marveling at how the flowers seemed to bloom right up to the snow line. We spent hours wandering the nature trail, breathing in that crisp mountain air and feeling incredibly grateful for moments like these. There's something magical about being surrounded by such natural beauty that makes all the travel planning and early wake-up calls worth it.

But here's where our day took an unexpected turn - after all that alpine serenity, we found ourselves craving something completely different for dinner. We stumbled upon this amazing Korean BBQ spot in Interlaken, and it was exactly what our souls needed. There we were, two Canadians who grew up with Korean fried chicken nights and dim sum Sundays, finding comfort food in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

The contrast between our peaceful morning among the alpine blooms and our evening feast of bulgogi and kimchi perfectly captured what we love about travel - those beautiful, unexpected moments that remind you how wonderfully diverse our world can be.
