We woke up to overcast skies on our fourth day in Switzerland, but that didn't dampen our spirits one bit! Our first stop was the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, and honestly, we weren't sure what to expect. Turns out, it was absolutely fascinating – from vintage locomotives to space exploration exhibits, we spent hours wandering through interactive displays. Amir was particularly obsessed with the aviation section (typical engineer!), while I found myself captivated by the communication technology evolution.

The afternoon brought our most adventurous moment yet: the Sonneberg hike. What started as a gentle ascent quickly turned dramatic when storm clouds rolled in. We found ourselves scrambling for shelter under a rocky overhang, laughing at how soaked we were despite our "waterproof" gear. There's something oddly romantic about being caught in a Swiss mountain storm together – though we definitely looked like drowned rats by the time we made it back down!

To salvage the day (and dry off), we treated ourselves to an incredible fine dining experience at a local restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge. The seven-course tasting menu was pure artistry, and watching the sommelier pair wines with each course felt like a masterclass. It was one of those meals where you put your phones away and just savor every moment.

Sometimes the best travel days are the ones that don't go according to plan. The unexpected storms and museum discoveries often make the most lasting memories.
