We never imagined that our first trip to Victoria Island would turn into one of our most magical travel experiences yet! When we planned this British Columbia adventure, whale watching was definitely on our bucket list, but actually spotting a pod of orcas? That felt like wishful thinking.

The moment we saw those distinctive black and white fins breaking the surface, we both grabbed each other's hands and just stared in complete awe. There's something incredibly humbling about witnessing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. What struck us most was how this adventure reminded us why we love traveling together. Amir was busy trying to capture the perfect shot while Samantha was completely mesmerized by the orcas' grace and power. These are the moments that make all the planning and early morning wake-up calls worth it.
