We honestly thought we had everything figured out for our Paris honeymoon - until we hit that PCR test snag that had us both panicking! ๐Ÿ˜…

So here's what happened: we needed negative PCR results to extend our stay, but the testing center we'd booked online turned out to be... well, let's just say it wasn't exactly where Google Maps said it would be. After wandering around the 7th arrondissement for what felt like hours (with Amir insisting we didn't need to ask for directions, typical!), we finally found a pharmacy that could help us out.

The language barrier made things interesting - Sam's high school French came in clutch, though we definitely got some amused looks from locals watching us frantically gesture about nasal swabs. There's something humbling about being lost tourists together, especially when you're trying to navigate international travel requirements as newlyweds.

The real kicker? We'd been stressing about the 48-hour turnaround time, but it turns out the requirements had changed just days before our trip. Classic 2022 travel vibes, right? We spent our morning refreshing email instead of strolling along the Seine like we'd planned.

But honestly, even the stressful moments become funny stories when you're with your person. Whether we're dealing with bureaucratic confusion in Toronto or PCR chaos in Paris, we're learning that flexibility is going to be key in this marriage!

Have you ever had travel plans completely derailed by testing requirements? We'd love to hear your stories!
