Day 16 - Hoi An Adventures | My Khe Beach| Hoi An | Khela Meets Da Nang

We woke up early on day 16 excited to explore more of what this incredible region has to offer! My Khe Beach was our first stop, and honestly, we weren't prepared for how stunning it would be. The golden sand stretched for miles, and the water was the perfect temperature for a morning swim.

What we loved most was how uncrowded it felt compared to some other popular beach destinations we've visited. We had plenty of space to set up our little beach picnic and just soak in the Vietnamese coastal vibes. Amir couldn't stop taking photos of the fishing boats dotting the horizon, while I was mesmerized by the local vendors selling fresh coconuts right on the sand.

Pro tip: Rent a scooter to get between My Khe Beach and Hoi An's Ancient Town - it's about a 45-minute ride and gives you the freedom to stop at local cafes along the way. We discovered this amazing banh mi spot that definitely wasn't in any guidebook!

Back in Hoi An's Ancient Town, we spent the afternoon wandering the lantern-lit streets and getting custom clothes made. As an interracial couple, we've learned that some of our best travel memories come from these slower, more intimate moments - just exploring hand-in-hand and discovering hidden gems together.

The contrast between Da Nang's modern beach scene and Hoi An's historic charm makes this area perfect for couples who want variety in their travels.
