We've been getting so many questions from you lovely readers about our travels through Asia, our cultural backgrounds, and what it's like navigating the world as a Vietnamese-Punjabi couple. So we thought, why not sit down with some chai (because let's be honest, we go through way too much of it) and answer some of your most asked questions!

What's it like traveling through Asia as an interracial couple?

It's been such a beautiful experience reconnecting with our roots together. When we visited Vietnam last year, Samantha got to show Amir her grandmother's village, and watching him try to use chopsticks properly while her cousins giggled was absolutely priceless. Similarly, when we explored Punjab, seeing Samantha embrace the gurdwara experience and insist on helping in the community kitchen melted our hearts.

Do you face any challenges?

Honestly? Sometimes we get curious looks, especially in smaller towns. But more often than not, people are genuinely excited to learn about our story. We've had countless conversations with locals who are fascinated by how we blend our traditions at home.

What's your favorite fusion dish?

Samantha's pho with Amir's homemade naan – trust us on this one! It shouldn't work, but somehow it absolutely does.

Traveling through Asia has deepened our appreciation for both our cultures and shown us how food, family, and hospitality transcend borders.
